Except from a course in Illustration Drawing at the Vrije Academie of Amsterdam in the 80's and 90's of the previous century, I’m self-taught. I've always had a passion for nature and for the sea especially.
The calm and wild sea that brings and ends life, I want to project into my paintings.
You can often find the feeling of freedom in my abstract landscapes.
I love working in acrylics, but also like using the oils. I also use new techniques and materials in my paintings.

Painting is my big passion which gives me peace and energy. This is that I would like to give to the viewer to experience it for themselves.
