Painting for me is a way of expressing my deep-felt intuitions, inspired by nature's shapes, forms and light. Profiles and colour harmonies are worked together with imagination. My instinctive paintings are expressionistic abstract creations, personal stories captured with pleasure in paint. During the course of painting contours and colours but also abstract and detail come skillfully to life on canvas. I am constantly experimenting to develop my work, continuously creating new shapes and images. It is an endless process of adding and omitting. Seeking (in)balance and (dis)harmony.
