I grew up in Mecklenburg, studied medicine in Lübeck and Munich and began my medical practice in 2004, first in Munich, Tutzing and currently in Murnau. During the learning-intensive time of study and residency, painting and also other beloved activities moved into the background. After the specialist examination in 2010, I devoted myself again to painting. In 2014 I became a member of the artist association TUSCULUM in Murnau. I regularly participate in collective exhibitions and have also been able to realize some solo exhibitions. I love the freedom and directness of plein air painting and am always looking for places where new images can arise. My preferred motifs always show a certain deviation from the norm. They are not perfect and therefore perfect. Crooked fields and crooked trees are much too beautiful not to be painted. But also the portrait painting has done it to me lately. Here, too, I'm fascinated by the supposed flaws that make each person unique. The freedom to move freely across national borders with the chance to meet, exchange and understand each other as a basis for peaceful coexistence cannot be valued highly enough, in my opinion. AIM represents these values, which is why I am happy to participate. www.ingalanzl.com |
