Born in Reutlingen, Germany, in 1966, the visual artist and clown lives and works in Germany and Greece. After studying to become a specialist teacher for sport, technology and handicrafts, she took lessons in painting and printing techniques in Germany and Italy. She completed her training as a health clown at the Tamala Clown Academy in Constance. Uta Schnuppe-Strack prefers to devote herself to color-intensive mixed media and etching techniques. Since 2019, the artist has been working on recurring series of works about the fleeting nature of the moment in which she incorporates parts of plants taken from nature into acrylic paintings. Since 2017, she has regularly presented her paintings in solo and group exhibitions in Germany, France, Greece, Scotland and Italy. Uta Schnuppe-Strack is a member of IAA International Association of Art, euroart, Künstlervereinigungen Murnau e.V. Tusculum, Ass. C.L.A.M. International, and Clowns ohne Grenzen Deutschland e.V..
