From the flash of a childhood landscape, he paints bursting sparks with a brush full of fire. Text - J.F.Briere
Diallo paints on a leaf born of the sun. His canvas is a screen of “chlorophyll light” on which the sky appears like a rain of flower seeds, for Diallo believes, together with Runge, that “colour represents that higher art which is mystical and must remain mystical”. Text - Luis Manuel Pastor
Diallo surprises with a successful symbiosis of traditional African art forms and European techniques. The intersections of cultures—including those within his home continent—are expressed particularly in his lithographs and finely differentiated watercolours. Graceful ornamentation and a clear language of movement offer the viewer both ethnographic and purely aesthetic paths. Text - Bernd Schmidt, Kleine Zeitung Graz
